My jumps just keep getting scratchier, lower to the ground, more awkward -- more off days than on days. I've been working on being conscious of my arm positions, entrances, knee bend, etc., but one thing that I thought of which hasn't been addressed by any of my skating instructors is head position. I tend to look down and forward. I know that for some strong edges it helps to turn my head towards the direction I am aiming, or that in turns I turn my head before my shoulders and hips, but do any of you have recommendations for head position right before the take off of jumps? If so, could you run down the jumps -- waltz, toe loop, salchow, loop, flip, lutz?
